Which AirPods do I have? All model numbers
Every AirPod and every charging case has its own model number. It starts with A, for example A2084. It tells you exactly which AirPods you have and which replacement part fits.
Where can I find the model number?
- On the AirPod: printed in small type.
- On the charging case: inside the lid.
- On your iPhone: “Settings”, then your AirPods. The model number is shown there.
The model number is not the same as the serial number. Each serial number exists only once and belongs to your device alone. The model number shows which model and which side you have.
AirPods 1 and 2
- AirPods 2: left AirPod A2032, right A2031
- AirPods 1: AirPods A1523 and A1722
- Charging case for AirPods 1 and 2: A1602

AirPods 3
- Left AirPod A2565, right A2564
- Charging case with Lightning A2897 or with MagSafe A2566, both fit
